All of the men are described as white, and in their twenties. The first suspect is described as 5ft 10ins tall, slim build, with a skinhead. He has a tattoo of a wing on his neck, and wore a black Adidas tracksuit with white stripes and a maroon t-shirt, blue jeans, and white trainers.

Detective Constable Callum Richardson, from Police Scotland, said: “The area was busy with pedestrians at the time of the incident, and we are keen to speak to anyone who can assist us with our inquiries.

“In particular, we want to trace a member of the public who shouted at the group of men before they ran away from the scene along St Andrew Street.

“Anyone else who witnessed the incident, or who recognises the description of the suspects, should also get in touch.”
