Landlord cleans up for charity

A BIG-HEARTED pub landlord is replacing charity money stolen in a callous robbery by hosting a sponsored car wash.

Thieves stole £300 in donations from The Dolphin Inn in Whitecraig, East Lothian, as well as £1000 in takings, in a raid in February but now owner Graham Blaikie has hatched a plan to recoup the money.

The car wash, in the pub’s car park, takes place on Sunday from 10am with all proceeds being donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust and Maggie’s.
