Lanes reopen on City Bypass following accident at Sheriffhall

The City Bypass has reopened following an earlier road traffic collision.

Drivers faced delays heading eastbound at Sheriffhall after a lane was closed following a two vehicle collision between a BMW and a Nissan Note.

Police were called just before midday with lane 2 closed following the incident.

Officers have confirmed that the there were no major injuries following the incident.

Although the route has been somewhat cleared, drivers face fresh delays due to a breakdown at the Gilmerton Junction.
