Laptop stolen by knife man

a 31-year-old man was assaulted and robbed in the Salamander Street area at around 1.45am yesterday.

The man’s rucksack, containing his laptop, was taken after a man emerged from behind a white Ford Transit, struck the victim on the back of the head and pulled out a knife. Police are appealing for witnesses.

The suspect is described as white, early 20’s, 5ft 5ins - 5ft 10ins with short fair hair, of medium build, wearing a grey top and dark tracksuit bottoms.
