Last chance to place a bid

A CHARITY auction which includes a signed Scotland shirt from football manager Jackie McNamara will close today.

A whisky bottle signed by first minister Alex Salmond and a plush hotel stay are also up for grabs as part of Lothian Buses’ ongoing support of Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Final offers will have to be submitted today, with all funds going to the charity which runs a research unit at the city’s Western General hospital.

The event has been timed to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
