Licensing board gets new clerk

A NEW clerk has been appointed to the Capital’s licensing board.

Carol Campbell was appointed to the role of acting head of legal and administrative services at the council in place of Alastair Maclean, who is now director of corporate governance.

A council report confirmed the position also gives her responsibility for the licensing board.

Karen Kelly, the council’s head of financial services, has also been designated chief financial officer until a review of the new department of corporate governance is complete.
