Linlithgow Palace shuts for Chanel fashion show

LINLITHGOW Palace will be closed to the public for almost three weeks prior to an extravagant fashion show.

The historic building shut its doors today as construction teams moved in to assemble the backdrop for the show.

Luxury Paris fashion brand Chanel will launch its Metiers d’Art collection there on December 4.

The palace will be closed on the day of the A-list event, while the castle itself will not reopen until Sunday, December 9. Star Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are rumoured to be coming.
