Man brutally attacked as four thugs burst into home

FOUR thugs who burst into a home and brutally attacked a man, leaving him, needed hospital treatment are being hunted by police.

The 26-year-old was attacked in Mosside Drive in Blackburn, West Lothian by the four men who entered the house at about 11.30pm on Friday.

The victim was dragged to the ground and assaulted, suffering cuts to his face, body and arm where was punched and kicked.

An ambulance took the victim to St John’s Hospital where he was treated and subsequently released.

A police spokesman said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the Mosside Drive area on Friday night, and who may have seen a group of men acting suspiciously to contact police. This appears to have been an entirely unprovoked attack.”
