Man to face court over baby girl's death
A MAN is due to appear in court today after being arrested and charged by police with the murder of a five-month-old baby girl.
Hayley Davidson was admitted to hospital in Edinburgh after police officers attended a property in Buckhaven, Fife, last Sunday.
They were responding to a call reporting concern for the child, who was taken to the Capital’s Sick Kids hospital for treatment.
Hayley died at the hospital on Wednesday afternoon. Her death is being treated as murder.
Police said that a 36-year-old man was scheduled to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today.
