A MAN is expected to appear in court on Tuesday after being arrested over the theft of a rare supercar worth almost £50,000.
The purple Nissan Skyline – said to be one of only around 20 of its kind in the UK – was stolen last Wednesday from outside a house in Livingston, West Lothian.
It was found in London the following day following a police operation stretching across the country.
Police Scotland alerted other forces throughout the UK to look out for the car and it was recovered by the Metropolitan Police.
A 31-year-old man has now been arrested and charged over the theft.
He is expected to make an appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
