A MAN accused of drug dealing has been remanded in custody on his 55th birthday.

Angus Bonellie, from Fife, was arrested last week after police seized £100,000 worth of heroin at The Centre shopping complex in Livingston.

Police later issued a statement saying they had recovered a kilo of the class A drug.

Bonellie appeared on petition and made no plea or declaration to a charge of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

He was fully committed for trial and remanded in custody.
