Man hurt in Capital crash

A MAN has been treated in hospital after three vehicles were involved in a collision in the Capital.

Emergency services rushed to the scene of the accident at the junction of Calder Road and Wester Hailes Road after receiving a call at 11.30am yesterday.

Paramedics treated a 66-year-old man who had suffered neck and other injuries at the scene.

The man was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary shortly afterwards for further treatment, but his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
