Man injured in Bathgate hit-and-run

Police today appealed for witnesses after a man was injured in a hit-and-run incident in Bathgate at the weekend.

The 37-year-old victim suffered a broken hip and is currently in hospital receiving treatment.

The collision happened around 11.45pm on Saturday in Livery Street.

A vehicle described as a black or silver 4x4 jeep or people carrier was travelling east on Livery Street at the time

Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the accident, or who saw a vehicle matching this description at this time. The vehicle may or may not have stopped at the time of the collision.
