Map: Road closures revealed ahead of Fireworks Concert

Ahead of the Virgin Money Fireworks Concert, a number of roads will be shut.

Commuters have been warned to plan ahead of the show with a number of roads in the city centre closed.

Under the plans for the festival, Princes Street, Rose Street and the Mound will be shut as will areas around St Andrew Square and the Scott Monument.

All roads will be closed from 7:30pm on Monday August 28 with roads such as Princes Street, Rose Street and connecting roads will remain shut until 1:30am the next day.

George IV bridge will be closed Northbound only.

Other roads, marked in blue on the map above, will open at 11:30pm after the event.

Commuters have been told to plan ahead with some bus routes also being affected.
