Matt reaches end of road
A CHARITY walker who visited Edinburgh during his 1500-mile walk across Britain has completed his journey.
Matt Wallace raised £20,000 for Cancer Research UK by walking from John O’Groats to Land’s End, via all 16 of the charity’s UK Centres of Excellence.
He visited the Edinburgh centre in November, and also gave a talk to pupils at Merchiston Castle School, where he was rewarded with a new pair of walking boots.
En route, he received online support from figures including Boris Johnson, Pixie Lott and Stephen Merchant.
