Meadow set to blossom

A NEW wildflower meadow will be taking root today in Prestonfield Park as a group of local primary school children plant the first flowers in time for spring.

More than 600 wildflowers will be planted in the meadow, with schoolchildren and volunteers from the Prestonfield and Cameron House Gardening Group all getting involved.

Work has been ongoing to make improvements to Prestonfield Park.

In the last few months picnic facilities, flower tubs, bird boxes and litter bins have been installed.
