A MEDICAL technology firm based in the Capital has announced its expansion into Singapore.

The Institute of Occupational Medicine (IOM) will provide consultancy and research services in the country, focusing on occupational hygiene and the use of nano-materials in emerging technology.

The firm, founded in 1969, now employs around 140 staff across the UK.

IOM bosses said the Singapore office was launched with support from Scottish Development International and the UK Department of Trade and Industry.
