Megan’s got her finger on the button

YOUNGSTER Megan Blair, nine, will get the chance to start the spectacular fireworks display marking the end of this year’s summer festivals.

Megan won the opportunity through a competition, and will now press the button to launch the Virgin Money Edinburgh International Festival Fireworks concert on Sunday night.

Progress is already well under way setting up the fireworks at Edinburgh Castle, which start at 9pm.
