‘Mindless’ yobs use fence posts to smash vehicles

POLICE are hunting two vandals who caused thousands of pounds of damage after attacking about a dozen parked vehicles with wooden fence posts.

The wrecking spree was carried out in Whitburn, West Lothian, at about 11.45pm on Friday when the suspects were seen walking through a number of streets vandalising the vehicles.

The vehicles in Flemington Gardens, Allan Road, West Main Street and Gardner Crescent had windscreens and windows smashed, which will cost about £2500 to repair.

“This mindless vandalism has left the vehicle owners with a hefty repair bill.”
