Miss Scotland on shop duty

Miss Scotland Jennifer Reoch is set to open a new Portcullis Gift Shop at Edinburgh Castle today.

The new shop has been created as part of an overall refurbishment of the shops at Edinburgh Castle.

The work has seen the attractions’ shops completely remodelled in order to reveal their historic fabric in a contemporary setting.

Nick Finnigan, executive manager of Edinburgh Castle said: “The refurbishment of the shops at Edinburgh Castle will not only enhance visitors’ experience, but will improve Scotland’s heritage as every penny made will be re-invested into the historic environment.”
