Missing Crieff mum and daughter found in Edinburgh

A 34-YEAR-OLD woman and her six-year-old daughter missing from the Crieff area have been found in the Edinburgh area.

Emma Malloy and her daughter Leah were last seen in Crieff on Friday 22 April 2016 however family members had not seen or heard of her since. They were reported missing yesterday.

Her husband, Richard Malloy, was quoted by The Courier today saying they had been found shortly after 11am.

He said: “We’ve now located her. She’s somewhere in Edinburgh at the moment.

“She left on Friday and our concerns increased as time wore on.

“That’s us just had it confirmed that she made contact.

“As far as we know she’s fine. We just want to get her back home again.

“It’s just a case of taking it one step at a time to see where it goes.

“We just have to wait. We are happy at least that contact has been made.”
