EDINBURGH West Liberal Democrat MP Mike Crockart has welcomed the decision to postpone a ban on taxis and cars inside Waverley station.

Network Rail had proposed to introduce the ban from July amid fears of a terrorist attack, but has now agreed to delay the plan.

Mr Crockart said he had written to Transport Minister Theresa Villiers, asking her to work with the council in calling on Network Rail bosses to delay implementation of the ban.
