MSP flags up perfect park

MORNINGSIDE Park has won a Green Flag award after a series of improvements.

Edinburgh Southern SNP MSP Jim Eadie praised the work of those involved, including Morningside Community Council. He made mention of better lighting, benches and the planting carried out by school children, as well as the sensory garden – designed as a peaceful place for blind and partially sighted people – created in memory of Susan Wong, former chair of the community council.
