MSP goes back to college to toast decade of success

Student success story Angela Constance MSP has helped get celebrations to mark ten years of West Lothian College at the Almondvale Campus under way.

The SNP politician, who has represented Livingston at the Scottish Parliament since 2007, returned to the college to plant a commemorative tree – the first in a series of events to toast its landmark year.

Ms Constance, now Minister for Children and Young People, is a former student at the West Lothian College. The MSP said she is proud her constituents have access to such a high standard of education on their doorstep.

“The new purpose-built college here in Livingston is symbolic of the fantastic facilities on offer.

“And during these difficult economic times we are living in, the work of the college is more important than ever.”
