Mr Ciania’s body was found at his flat in Dickson Street in Leith on January 14. .

Detective Inspector Stuart Houston, from the major inquiry team at Leith Police Office, said: “It is an unusual step for police to visit places of worship, however we know that the key to this investigation lies in the community, and I am confident that the Polish residents of Edinburgh will be keen to assist us.”
