Murder victim is laid to rest

THE funeral of murder victim David McCardle will be held in Musselburgh tomorrow.

Mr McCardle was found with serious head injuries near the Clubhouse pub in Musselburgh’s North High Street on Friday, August 12. He later died at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. Two men have since been charged with his murder.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Loretto RC Church, Newbigging, Musselburgh at 9.30am, before he is interred at Inveresk Cemetery.
