Museum fun for children

A STRING of activities are being held in two East Lothian museums to entertain children over the October break.

John Muir’s Birthplace and Prestongrange Museum are offering daily drop-in sessions for families and boast craft fun and a spooky trail respectively.

Families can also purchase their tickets now for Prestongrange Museum’s Hallowe’en Party next Friday, which will including dooking for apples, a fancy dress competition, and spooky run. Tickets can be purchased from Prestongrange Museum and cost £2 per child, with adults going free.
