Who would be your ideal weekend companion?
My girlfriend. We don’t have many weekends off together.
Where would you take her in Edinburgh?
I love being by the coast so we’d probably go for a stroll along Cramond beach and take in some of the fresh air.
Where would you go for breakfast, lunch and dinner and why?
Well, naturally we’d go to Tigerlily for breakfast, the Swiss rosti is amazing! I would probably go to Sushiya as it has the best sushi in Edinburgh and for dinner I would go to Restaurant Martin Wishart at the Shore – it’s pure excellence.
What item could you not be without and why?
Probably my phone. Although I feel most at home in the kitchen I would hate not to be able to answer e-mails or keep in touch with my friends and family.
How would you finish your perfect weekend?
A nice bottle of Pinotage, a home cooked roast beef dinner and a good DVD.
