Napier hope for Earth Hour

Edinburgh Napier University has been put forward to lead the UK’s switch-off to mark WWF’s Earth Hour on Saturday, March 31.

Every year famous landmarks join hundreds of businesses, communities and homes across the country as they switch off to mark the event at 8.30pm.

The university has been nominated by students hoping to see it crowned WWF’s Champion Community for Earth Hour 2012.

Organiser Ka Wing Wong, said: “It would be great if Edinburgh Napier University was to be the Champion Community for Earth Hour 2012.”
