New chief at health body

A NEW general manager has been appointed at the Edinburgh Community Health Partnership (CHP).

Colin Briggs was previously associate director of operations for women, children and neurosciences at the Sick Kids, ERI, St John’s and the Western General.

He said: “I am looking forward to my new role and the challenges of working in a new environment and hope to bring a fresh perspective to this exciting post.”

Bob Anderson, chair of the CHP, added: “I know that his extensive experience and ability will be invaluable.”
