New chief for tourist board

A NEW chief has been appointed to spearhead West Lothian’s continuing growth as a popular visitor destination.

James Bailey from the Centre in Livingston is the new chair of Visit West Lothian, and aims to help drive forward tourism in the area.

He said: “This is an exciting opportunity and I am looking forward to joining the board and plan to take a lead role in helping to develop West Lothian’s tourism industry.”
