No cash required as theatre plans performance about spending cuts

A THEATRE project in Leith is to hold a performance exploring the causes public spending cuts.

Active Inquiry is a Leith-based theatre company that specialises in creating dramatic pieces with, and for, the people of Leith.

The group is currently developing a piece of forum theatre, and will hold a workshop to collect stories, thoughts and ideas on the effects of public spending cuts. They aim to look at the claim that the less well-off and the vulnerable will be disproportionately affected.
