No fears over Holyrood roof

PARLIAMENT bosses say there are no safety concerns after faults were found on the roof at Holyrood. Officials have admitted that there was a safety “issue with fixings” on an anchor point used to secure workers’ safety harnesses. A 100lb granite block on the side of the building above the Royal Mile was being held in place by wooden wedges.
