OAP dies after fire in caravan
An elderly man has died after a fire broke out in a caravan in Loanhead.
Crews from Liberton, Dalkeith and Newcraighall attended the fire at Nivensknowe Park just before 5am this morning.
Paramedics were called to the scene at 5.20am but sadly the man died at the scene.
A fire service spokesperson said: “At present the cause of the fire is unknown. A fire investigation unit is attendance.”
