OCEAN TERMINAL SALE IMMINENT

The sale of one of Edinburgh’s leading shopping centres is thought to be imminent.

Some of the UK’s biggest retail park companies are thought to have expressed an interest in snapping up Ocean Terminal and the “Waterfront Plaza” land.

Forth Ports, which opted to sell the site in July following its takeover by infrastructure fund Arcus, is thought to want £100 million for the site.

It is understood a preferred bidder is about to be secured, with an announcement expected in the coming months.
