Open doors a window on world of science

technology centres will join kirks and country homes in this year’s expanded Midlothian Doors Open Day.

A total of 28 buildings throughout the county are taking part in the event – seven of them for the first time – on Saturday.

The new participants are the Roslin Institute Building, the new Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Rosewell Parish Church and St Matthew’s RC Church, the former Cross Keys Hotel and the Corn Exchange in Dalkeith and Cowan’s Bank Mill in Penicuik.
