Have your say

SUSAN Boyle has taken the Five Sisters Zoo to her heart since it was badly damaged in a fire in April.

First, she handed over a “substantial” donation to help rebuild the zoo, and then she adopted a lemur – which she planned to call SuBo.

Now, the singing sensation has paid a personal visit to see how the attraction is recovering.

The zoo’s Lesley Coupar said: “She just had a wander around. I think she was quite taken by the meerkats.”

But it seems controversial comedian Frankie Boyle is striking a chord in the Capital.

Chocolate giant Cadbury asked women in Edinburgh to reveal their secret “funny man” crushes – and the Glaswegian pessimist appears to tickle their fancy.

Comedienne Vikki Stone said: “It definitely shows that cheeky comedy goes a long way to bagging yourself a partner.”
