Outlander casting firm on look out for next big Scottish star

An Edinburgh-based casting firm, which has worked on major projects such as Outlander, is on the hunt for Scotland's next young star.

Simone Pereira Hind Casting worked on the casting for Outlander

Simone Pereira Hind Casting is on the lookout for boys aged 8-12 for the lead role in a major new film.

Details of the project are unclear but the firm has worked on various high profile projects, including smash hit American show Outlander,

In a statement, the firm said: “We are looking for an intelligent, focused young actor with a soft Scottish accent to play this exciting role.”

No experience is necessary, they said, but the successful actor would need to be available for filming between September and November in Luxembourg and Scotland.
