Park swings into action

REVAMPED Saughton Playpark has been officially opened in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The play area features an improved “sand works” play space for very young children, an adventure trail, a cableway, a roundabout, new swings and a basket swing. It was designed following consultation with the local community.

The work was carried out by the Edinburgh and Lothians Greenspace Trust and funded by the city council.
