Party in park for Jubilee

A PARTY celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee is to be held in Midlothian.

The afternoon of food and music will take place at Vogrie Country Park, Gorebridge, between midday and 5pm on Sunday, June 3.

Bands including Lasswade High School Band and Midlothian Schools Ceilidh Band, will be performing throughout the afternoon.

Youngsters are invited to come in fancy dress or home-made crowns.

Visitors can also enjoy the usual attractions, including woodland walks and a nine-hole golf course.
