A PENSIONER has been killed after the car he was driving was involved in a collision with a lorry.

David Reilly, from Livingston, was at the wheel of a Toyota and towing a caravan on the A74 at Ecclefechan in Dumfries and Galloway in the early hours of Saturday.

The 66-year-old was the sole occupant of the car. Police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them on 101.
