The dramatic design caught the eye of one shopper who bagged a bargain taking home one of the impressive chairs for only £2000.

Speaking to the Evening News today the store manager confirmed that one of the designer chairs has been snapped up but the other is still searching for a new home.

Hoping to appeal to shoppers on the other side of the city, the chair has been moved to the charity’s Stockbridge shop.

Head of Group Income Generation Stephanie Miller said: “These rare designer chairs have continued to generate a lot of interest in our shops. We were delighted when the first one sold, bringing in much needed income for our work supporting people facing homelessness across Scotland. We hope to sell the second one at our Stockbridge shop soon and are very grateful to the anonymous donor who gifted us such valuable pieces.”
