Lights, camera, action! After five months of closure due to the coronavirus crisis, one of Edinburgh's favourite independent cinemas is ready to reopen its doors this weekend.

The Filmhouse, on Lothian Road, will welcome back movie-goers on Friday (September 4), with an opening programme that includes Christopher Nolan's sci-fi spy thriller blockbuster 'Tenet' and Icelandic thriller 'A White, White Day', among others.
