Edinburgh panto legend Allan Stewart has recorded a spine tingling version of David Bowie’s hit Space Oddity in honour of famous fundraiser Captain Tom Moore.

The song and accompanying video was the result of a collaboration between Allan Stewart and Scottish director Ryan Dewar, and has been shared widely across social media.

It was released as a tribute to inspirational 99-year-old Captain Tom Moore, who has raised over £18 million for the NHS by pledging to walk 100 laps around his Bedfordshire garden before his 100th birthday.

He completed this challenge on Thursday, resulting in congratulations from Prince William and a petition for the veteran to be knighted.
