Police in Fife are appealing for assistance in tracing 39-year-old James Grant, who has been reported missing from Cupar.

James was last seen about 9am on Saturday, September 12 in the local area.

His current whereabouts are unknown, however it is known that James will walk significant distances or utilise public transport.

He is described as 5ft 7, slim build with shoulder length blonde/fair hair. He was wearing a cream jacket, red t-shirt, blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms and blue trainers.

Sergeant Paul Hunter, from Cupar Police Station, said: “James has been missing for a number of hours now and his friends and family are understandably concerned for his welfare.

"We have a number of police resources looking for James at the moment and I am appealing for assistance from the public”.
