Forth Road Bridge closed to traffic for large part of Wednesday and Thursday

The Forth Road Bridge will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday between 8am and 4.30pm.

Stagecoach East Scotland tweeted the news to advise those using their services, saying they are diverting via the Queensferry Crossing.

They wrote: 'Heading to/from North Queensferry? Get on/off at Ferrytoll.'

'Heading to/from South Queensferry? Get on/off on Builyeon Rd by the BP garage.'
