Home fitness giant Peloton is set to open a massive showroom in Edinburgh's new St James Quarter next year.

The new 2,926 sq ft showroom will open at the £1 billion development in the spring, and will provide consumers with the chance to try the Peloton Bike in person.

Peloton delivers up to 48 classes produced daily, and a library of thousands of on-demand classes taught by a roster of instructors.

It aims to deliver real-time motivation and curated playlists and delivers its content through the Peloton Bike and Peloton Digital, which provides a full slate of fitness offerings, anytime, anywhere, through iOS and Android as well as most tablets and computers.

“We’re very excited to announce that they will be bringing their unique offer to St James Quarter with their new showroom,” said Chris Pyne, Head of Leasing for St James Quarter.

“Peloton has successfully combined our desire for technology within its fitness products and online training, revolutionising methods of at-home exercise which have become so important in these challenging times.”

Martyn Clark, International Director of Real Estate Development for Peloton, said: “St James Quarter stood out as a key location for us, as we continue to expand our retail footprint, and we look forward to introducing more people to the Peloton brand.”

Peloton is the latest addition to the St James Quarter, which will host 85 shops, 30 restaurants, two hotels and a cinema.
