Time is running out for a mystery lottery winner in West Lothian, who has less than 24 hours to claim a £350,000 prize - the highest available on the Lotto HotPicks game.

The winning ticket was purchased in the West Lothian area for the draw made on 3 February.

The customer had 180 days to claim the prize money, but as of today - the final day they are able to claim, they have yet to come forward.

Five of the numbers in the Lotto HotPicks ‘Pick 5’ game matched up with five of the six main numbers from that week’s Lotto draw.

The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 8, 26, 27, 29, 49 and 58.

It comes after a retired couple from Aberdeenshire scooped a whopping £57.9 million EuroMillions jackpot this week.

Fred and Lesley Higgins, who hedged their bets on the 10 July jackpot, came forward as the winners of the life-changing amount despite their lucky ticket having been mistakenly ripped up by a local shop employee and put in the bin.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
