Morale-boosting message appears on seafront of Portobello beach over Easter weekend

One kind-hearted Portobello resident penned the morale-boosting message over the Easter weekend.

An inspirational message has been penned on a wall at Portobello beach – telling resident “You’ve got this”.

The note, which appears to be daubed in chalk, is an uplifting to note residents during the current lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The message, written on a seafront wall, reads: “Well done people of Porty – you’ve got this’.

The image was posted on Twitter after @JessyYouks noticed during an evening run last night (Saturday).

Several other messages of hope have been issued throughout Edinburgh in recent days.

A ‘thank you’ message was recently left for bus workers outside the Lothian depot in Portobello, while the people of Stockbridge and further afield have been putting rainbows in their windows for a very special reason.
