Police in Edinburgh are appealing for information after 49-year-old Gina Ness went missing on Wednesday, July 22.

She was last seen on CCTV leaving a flat in Hyvot Park area of the Capital around 1 pm on Wednesday and is described as white, 5 foot 6 inches in height, of slim build and with black hair that is usually worn in a ponytail.

When she was last seen she was wearing a blue, denim jacket with a blue hooded top, black jeans and a baseball cap.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the police on 101 quoting incident number 2978 of Friday, July 24.

The police are also appealing to Gina herself to contact them to let them know she is safe.
